Come avevo promesso, ho aggiornato IDJC nel mio repository.

Ho aggiornato anche il pacchetto di Gwibber, ora alla revisione 249.

Internet DJ Console: versione 0.7.17 rilasciata!!!

Ieri è stata rilasciata la versione 0.7.17 del mio programma preferito per fare una radio online: Internet DJ Console.

Ecco i cambiamenti dalla .16:

Fixed minor layout bug in the connection box.

Removed the forced inclusion of mp4.h in mp4tag.c.

MP4 tags API updated in mp4tag.c to prevent deprecation warnings.

The DJ alarm now triggers off a deeper inspection of playlist controls. This permits correct operation of the alarm when fading to an announcement.

The DJ alarm now sounds prior to announcements.

Added playlist controls for fading between tracks. These override the fade speed of the player and can be used to fade announcements.

Added a new fading-between-tracks in-the-same-playlist feature.

Fixed a bug where the player could freeze at the end of a track after a progress bar seek that left the bar at the far right hand size.

Jingles keyboard shortcuts now work when the announcement dialog is active. The shortcut to cancel the dialog (not in editing mode) is BACKSPACE since ESC is used to stop jingles.

Added record_start and record_stop commands to idcjctrl.

Prokyon 3 database parse optimisations. Approx 15% speedup.

Conditional inclusion of jack_set_info_function function call.

Fixes to catch exceptions when there are problems connecting to a song title database.

Internet DJ Console 0.7.16

Internet Dj Console (idjc) è un’applicazione che consente di mixare e condividere i nostri brani preferiti (e anche la nostra voce) su internet grazie ai server Shoutcast/Icecast.

Ho pacchettizzato questa nuova versione nel mio repository per i386, in quanto quella presente in sid non è aggiornata.

Per installarla basta un:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install idjc

Io uso idjc per trasmettere una radio online via shoutcast (attraverso uno dei tanti server disponibili gratuitamente) e devo dire che funziona molto bene. Se si installa il pacchetto python-mysqldb si potrà anche avere un database contente tutti i vostri artisti e canzoni preferite per aggiugnerle al volo.
